SANTA MARIA PRIVATE SCHOOL
Santa Maria Private School was founded in January 1970 by Late Chief Mrs. Elizabeth Nneka Njideaka (Yeye Oge of Mushin), a woman of vision whose mission was to contribute her quota to the educational uplift of the Nigerian child. The school started her nursery arm at no. 3, Adamu Orisa street, in Surulere where it grew into a primary school and latter relocated to Silver street mushin.
SANTA MARIA COLLEGE
Santa Maria College, a citadel of learning known for its academic and moral excellence was commissioned on Monday 29th of September 1998, at No. 15 silver Street, off Palm Avenue Mushin, Lagos State.
The opening of the College was stemmed out of the desire of the management to provide sound moral and academic training to the young ones, with the aim of reducing child abuse and the increasing rate of miscreant s in the society and the nation at large.
VISION STATEMENT: To be a low fee high volume school that deliver customers satisfaction.
MISSION STATEMENT: We are set to assist children relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the outside world thereby making them responsible citizens of the nation and world at large. We intend to achieve this by assisting child(ren) to discover and build their abilities, talents, knowledge and skills as they grow steadily in confidence, maturity and the fear of God.
MOTTO: Our motto is LOVE, KNOWLEDGE AND PROGRESS. In LOVE, we disseminate KNOWLEDGE that brings about individual, local, National and global PROGRESS.

In 1988, Santa Maria Private School got her approval to operate Nursery and Primary schools in Lagos state from the ministry of education Alausa and ever since then, till now, we have educated over 2500 Nigerian children who have grown to become captains of industries both locally and globally.
By 1990, the founder Chief (Mrs) Elizabeth Nneka Njideaka (Yeye Oge of Mushin) passed on to glory and passed the baton to her son Mr. Njideaka Kevin who has continued in ensuring that the schools philosophy, standards and ethics are maintained and built upon
